Denise has been working at MDE in School Finance since 2018 with the special education funding/data team. Her primary responsibilities include MEGS, Compliance MOE, CEIS budgets, and state aid calculations. Prior to joining MDE, she spent six years at Centennial School District working in school finance. Her previous work experience also includes eight legislative sessions with the Minnesota House of Representatives and a role at Hennepin County. Denise holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from Hamline University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities.
