Budgeting II Part 1
This session provides and overview of the cycles and timelines of budgeting for schools, and includes discussions of budget procedures and assumptions, including strategic planning and contract/bargaining. Issues associated with budget reductions, including community involvement and staff reductions, will also be covered. This is an in-person event.

Printed handouts will be provided at the session. A light supper will be served at 4:00 p.m. for attendees.
Certification Program Requirements
The Minnesota Association of School Business Officials has established a voluntary certification program for all MASBO members and nonmembers. The courses are designed to train current and prospective school business officials, and offer practical information to assist members in excelling in their profession.
All Certification Courses are open to all members, but an application for the Certification Program must be completed prior to attendance for course participation to apply to the program.
Board of School Administrators Credits: 3
Approved administrative continuing education credits are available for most MASBO conference, workshops, and professional development programs. For in-person events, registered attendees must attend the full event to recieve credit. BOSA credits may also be available for select live or recorded webinars.
MASBO Credits: 3
The "MASBO Credit" is our standard credit and will be offered for each one-hour live or recorded session. MASBO Credits can apply toward your MASBO certification designation.
