General Education Funding II
This course will explain the general ed components, including what they are, and what types of expenditures to code to each. The session also covers how state aids are related to the different systems. This is an in-person event.

Certification Program Requirements
The Minnesota Association of School Business Officials has established a voluntary certification program for all MASBO members and nonmembers. The courses are designed to train current and prospective school business officials, and offer practical information to assist members in excelling in their profession.
All Certification Courses are open to all members, but an application for the Certification Program must be completed prior to attendance for course participation to apply to the program.

Lori Volz has more than 40 years of experience in school finance and has worked in three Big 9 school districts over the course of her career as executive director of finance and operations/deputy superintendent. She currently serves Minnesota public schools as financial advisory consultant with Baker Tilly Municipal Advisors.
