Description

Districts across Minnesota receive equalization aid. But to what extent and for how long? Here, we'll explore equalization aid formulas, including the School Building Bond Agricultural Credit. We'll look at statewide trends and district examples of how changing property wealth and varying property tax bases are impacting the aid generated. Finally, we'll review legislative proposals that contemplate equalization formulas.
