Alan Gregerson has worked at the IRS for over thirty-six years. Over the years, he has held positions of a Revenue Agent, Taxpayer Education Specialist, Taxpayer Service Specialist, and currently a Senior Stakeholder Liaison in the Communications and Liaison Division within the IRS. Over the last twenty-two years he has made many presentations and communicated with many agencies, businesses, payroll professionals, and practitioner groups of important messages for the various organizations. He received his Certified Payroll Professional designation in 2011. He has received his Distinguished Toastmaster Designation in in public speaking in July 2018 with many presentations over the years. He also received the Civil Servant of the Year Award in 2009 from the Federal Executive Board. Currently, he also works with practitioners on reviewing IRS practices, procedures, and policies, and suggestions to improve IRS processes with communication. He is a University of Minnesota graduate with concentration in accounting and business topics.
