Dr. Heidi Orstad is a clinical nurse consultant with Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA)’s Planning and Analytics for Total Health (PATH) team. Working in collaboration with the PATH team, Dr. Orstad develops and executes on strategies to help employers control health care costs, improve health outcomes, and promote employee engagement through analytic-based state of the art innovations and reporting. Dr. Orstad also serves as the lead clinical market resource for client engagements and assists in managing clinical relationships with payors, providers, and employers. Dr. Orstad obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of MN School of Nursing and has more than 20 years of experience as a nurse executive in health plan and hospital operations and serves nationally as a leader on the American Nurses Association (ANA) Innovation Advisory Committee and served as the President of Minnesota’s chapter of ANA from 2020-2024.
