New Member Circle

The New Member Circle is designed for active MASBO members who have been in the profession for less than two years. The program is open to members in any job function, with topics that may be especially relevant to those in business manager roles.

Meetings are facilitated by experienced MASBO members and cover a variety of topics. While each meeting includes an informational component, the primary goal is to foster networking and provide a welcoming space for new members to ask questions, share solutions, and discuss challenges they encounter in their roles.

The program includes virtual sessions and two in-person gatherings. Throughout the year, a New Member Circle listserv will also provide an opportunity for members to ask questions, share answers, and stay connected between meetings.

Registration Information

The New Member Circle is available at no charge to MASBO Active members. A one-time registration covers all virtual sessions offered throughout the year. Members may participate in the New Member Circle for two consecutive years.

Program Goals

The New Member Circle is intended to:

1. Connect new members with one another on a regular basis.

2. Support networking by connecting new members with experienced Active, Associate, and Affiliate members.

3. Provide information and resources relevant to newer members.

4. Offer an accessible forum where newer members can ask questions and learn from one another.

Please note: New Member Circle sessions will not be recorded, and MASBO credits are not offered for participation.

Registration for the series is required only once. By registering, you are registering for all virtual sessions included in the New Member Circle series, rather than registering for individual sessions.
