Topics include personnel policies, hiring procedures, job descriptions, performance appraisals, and pay equity reports. Labor relations, contract administration, staffing projections, and legislation affecting personnel and the EEO coordinator will also be covered.
Completion Criteria
To complete this workshop and receive the 3 MASBO and BOSA credits, you must attend no less than 90% of a session to be marked complete, and take the course test after the session is full. A link to the test can be accessed by clicking on the Completion and Certificate button. A score of 70% or higher on the test is required for successful completion of the course towards your certification program requirements. Once the session has been viewed live or virtually, you have 30 days to complete your test to put it towards certification.
Certification Program Requirements
The Minnesota Association of School Business Officials has established a voluntary certification program for all MASBO members and non-members. The courses are designed to train current and prospective school business officials, offering practical information to help members excel in their profession.
All Certification Courses are open to all members. However, an application for the Certification Program must be completed before attending the course to ensure participation in the program.
