Doug Heeschen is the Division Procurement Coordinator with the Office of State Procurement in the Department of Administration. As Procurement Coordinator, he helps implement projects and solicitations when multiple teams are involved, and works on new initiatives, process improvement, and training. Before becoming procurement coordinator, he supervised an Acquisitions team involved with IT-related purchasing, conferences, and general services. Before that he worked in the Professional/Technical Contracts team negotiating contracts and administering IT-related master contract programs. He is an attorney and has been with the state for almost ten years.
