Mary has over 25 years of risk management leadership and experience from the perspective of the insurance company, employer, and agency sides. A well-known expert in risk management and workers compensation, Mary works with employers in their efforts to control the cost of risk by identifying, preventing, and mitigating risk and developing effective claim management and cost containment programs.
Charlie was the co-chair of the 2011, 2014, and 2017 Workers’ Compensation Institutes. She is a frequent speaker at the Workers’ Compensation Institute and the Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Deskbook seminars. She has co-authored chapters of the Deskbook. She has been a frequent speaker at the Workers’ Compensation Symposium. In addition, Charlie has been a speaker at many of the Department of Labor & Industry’s Workers’ Compensation Summits.
