This session will discuss IAQ and summarize requirements and guidelines to maintain and improve indoor air. The presentation will focus on IAQ plans, radon, ventilation, and air cleaning.

These tools can also open us to the possibility of greater social connections, improved sleep, enhanced memory and stronger immune system function. Anyone can use these tools to make a difference in their life. In a world faced with many challenges, getting back to the basics can be very helpful!
Most schools participate in the National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program and the After School Snack Program. These programs are administered by MDE on behalf of the USDA. When a school decides to contract their meal service, not only must the school comply with federal and state procurement standards but must also provide MDE with specific information at certain times during the procurement process in order to comply with the USDA's school meal program. This 50 minute training will review the federal and state regulations, the process at the local level and which documents must be provided to MDE.
