- The MASBO Institute is a comprehensive learning experience designed to give school business professionals a strong foundation across the many areas of school business management. Whether you are new to the profession or an experienced professional looking to expand your knowledge, the Institute provides valuable insight into the roles, responsibilities, and functions that support effective school district operations. The Institute combines practical learning with opportunities to learn from experienced school business professionals and connect with colleagues from across Minnesota. The hybrid format includes recorded content, two half-day live virtual sessions, and two full-day in-person sessions, providing a flexible and engaging learning experience. To successfully complete the MASBO Institute, participants must attend or view at least 90% of each live and recorded session and fully attend all in-person sessions.
