Overview of tax terminology, levy components, and timelines. The majority of the session includes how to budget property tax revenue and perform year-end reconciliations on property tax revenue. IMPORTANT: As part of this course, attendees will need to have access to their Pay 23 levy report. Please either bring a printed copy of your Pay 23 levy or a laptop for you to access it. All other printed handouts will be provided onsite to attendees.
On the third Monday of each month MDE staff will hold this meeting with MASBO members, typically to include a short presentation on a timely topic and time for questions and information sharing.
The 2024 Tax Levy Workshop will be held as a live webinar on 9/9. It will also be recorded to be viewed on-demand. Registration is the same for either format.
